Introducing Captain Stan the Mosquito Man

Captain Stan Cope (aka The Mosquito Man) is one of the world’s foremost experts on all things mosquito.  He has close to 40 years of experience fighting mosquitoes.  He proudly served his country for over 23 years in the United States Navy as a Medical Entomologist and was the “Head Bug Guy” for the Department of Defense.  He has received over 20 medals for his service and he was on the White House Zika Virus Task Force.

Captain Stan obtained a PhD. in Public Health from UCLA.  He is past President of the American Mosquito Control Association and his experience includes pest control research & operations in over 20 countries, the publication of over 80 scientific, technical and non-technical articles and the delivery of over 200 scientific & technical presentations.  In short, mosquitoes fear Stan more than citronella candles & repellants combined.

Captain Stan has been the “Head Mosquito Man” at Catchmaster™ since 2017 and has helped guide the development of new mosquito control products, most notably our Ovi-Catch AGO trap.  The revolutionary new product is a low-cost option for non-toxic, pesticide-free mosquito control.

    Hi,
    I’ve read your paper about whether the mosquito can transmit coronavirus. You suggested that there is no evidence that mosquito can transmit the virus to human, but is there any evidence that the the mosquito can NOT transmit the virus to human?
